BRIDGE THE GAP TO CAREER SUCCESS - CAREER CENTER ORIENTATION :  The Tennessee Career Center staff will provide you with an insight on the career center's services, introduce you to partners housed in the career center and provide you with a tour of our facilities.

"RIGHT" YOUR RESUME: The workshop provides guidelines on the different types of resumes, basic resume rules and formatting components, and cover letter writing.  Come prepare with pertinent information to begin your resume.

KICK START YOUR JOB SEARCH: Discover what careers match your interests and skills.  Find out which careers are in high demand in your local area, and what they will be paying in the future.  Explore career you may never have realized are open to you!  Customers will also learn how to complete job applications.

JOB APPLICATION WORKSHOP: Teaches individuals how to properly fill out a job application properly.

COMPUTER NITTY GRITTY:  This workshop will teach customers the components of a computer, how to open a program, how to edit, save and print documents.  Contact you local career center to sign up for the workshops.

CAREER TRANSITION-NETWORKING WITH AN ATTITUDE: The Tennessee Career Center Weekly Job Club consists of career center customers who are seeking employment or a new career.  The career center provides the assistance of a Facilitator along with other support.  You can get to know your self through the eyes of others in the club.  You will also learn how to spend six to eight hours a day looking for work instead of the one to two hours averaged by most Americans.
