Study Skills for Academic Success Workshop
The fifteen-hour course focuses on four areas: improving study skills; improving test-taking skills; time management, and motivation. The section of the course on time management will include discussion of stress and crisis management specifically as it relates to balancing education with other life issues. The section on motivation will focus on the economic value of education and the ever-decreasing opportunities for uneducated persons in today’s changing economy. This is a prerequisite to a Career Center scholarship - required by all who plan to apply for scholarships funded by South Central Tennessee Workforce Alliance.
